Anonymous asked: What is this romana campaign thing?

Hey anon! Not a real campaign per se, it’s mostly picspams and manips depicting Keeley as Romana (a Time Lady and the Doctor’s equal) in Doctor Who and the fact that she’s worked with three Doctors and an alt. Doctor (Paul McGann twice, Richard E Grant, Christopher Eccleston and David Tennant). I’ve reblogged most of them under the ‘for Romana campaign’ tag.

There’s no indication whether she (or at least the kiddies) watches DW and/or expresses interest in being in the show. She hasn’t said no to the idea either, which was what she said in regards to playing a live action Lara Croft.

And it’s great fun to be shooting next door to Doctor Who for some of it. So, Matt Smith popped over. I missed him — I was busy with Jean. But it’s very nice — it’s a great feeling, it’s very buzzy.

Ultimately it’s up to Moffat whether Romana will be brought back and this Keeley for Romana is just a casting fantasy. So no badgering Moffat about this in case it gets jinxed.

Benedict Cumberbatch for the Master posts haven’t decreased either since he said that he doesn’t want to play the Master.

Keeley Hawes with a Captain Jack Harkness knitted plushie! :3

When I got to the signing desk for Keeley I said, “I hope you don’t mind, but I have a strange request.”

I put Jack down on the table and she said, “Is it to do with him? He’s absolutely adorable!” and then she took him from me!

She commented on how brilliantly made he was (yes, she said ‘brilliant’) and said that she can knit, but could never make anything as well as him. She looked at him very closely.

I explained that he was made by a friend from the States who happened to be a massive LoM and A2A fan, and she was more than happy to pose for a pic, before giving Jack and little hug and handing him back…

Which answers my pressing question of whether she watches Doctor Who (she’d have recognised Jack otherwise). :| Oh well. Jack would totally flirt with Romana!
